We don’t do average.
The national average shuttle driver in the US makes $17.27 per hour1. Our drivers report nearly 60% higher hourly rates2. Yes, really.
1 Information from indeed.com as of 11/26/21. 2 Based on $19.00 per hour, 10-hour shifts, plus average gratuity. These amounts will vary as gratuities cannot be, and are not, guaranteed and do not account for taxes or other factors. Actual amounts earned may be higher or lower.
“Nothing brings us greater joy than to be able to provide people with a better life. Maybe it’s an extra day home with their family, or more money in their pockets. Seeing our people thrive and be happy makes this all worth it.”

All the details.
It’s all for you. It’s never about being the “best.” It’s about doing the best at what you know. Knowledge really is power, and we don’t leave you in the dust.
Training with Western Shuttles is a minimum of three five-hour shifts. We don’t do the typical “you drive, let’s go” mentality.
- Day one: Riding along with a trainer to learn everything they do.
- Day two: Riding for half shift, driving only and observing the trainer the second half.
- Day three: Driving and loading the route, but with the trainer along to help in any way.
We want you set up for success and will show you everything from loading luggage, airport laws and more. Once you hit the ground running by yourself, you know that we’re with you every step of the way.
Shuttle driving sounds so simple — you’ve done it for years by driving! Or so you thought. Western Shuttles prides itself on being different. There’s a reason we’ve become Denver International Airport’s most-used hotel-shuttle service, and it all starts with our drivers.
Every driver is expected to be professional, courteous and know their way around helping a guest. Prompt arrivals and departures, interacting with guests and making their day is what we’re all about. We equip every driver with the power to be more for themselves and our riders, and we’re still small enough to know each of them by name.
You have a life outside of work! We get that, understand it and do everything in our power to see our drivers happy — even when you’re not here.
We believe in making sure life outside of work is your best. When you are rested and taken care of, you care for our guests more. 10-hour shifts, three days off and more all make this an easy choice.
Vision from VSP®, Dental from Beam!® and Medical insurance from Kaiser Permanente® Colorado.
We strongly believe that rewards and more help our drivers in their every day lives. Because of that, we also provide incentive-based bonuses, holiday pay, safety bonuses and more.
